Invitation丨The Explorer Racing Pigeon Club Invites Fanciers Around The World To Prepare For The 2017 Edition!

Xi’an is the capital of Shaanxi Province in Northwest China, as well as the oldest of the Four Great Ancient Capitals, having held the position under several of the most important dynasties in Chinese history. Xian is as well the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Chin Shi Huang.

In such a historical city, the atmosphere and foundation of pigeon sport is no doubt deep and profound. Starting at a high point in the ancient capital, the Explorer Racing Pigeon Club founded in 2012 is one of the most presentative and influential clubs in Xi’an and even China. Though the Explorer held its first race in 2013 and is very young, it is the third professional league club in China, after BGY Club and the Pioneer Club in Beijing! 

To explore reasonable and proper rules, 

To explore the skills of feeding and training,

These are the real missions of EXPLORER.

The club is located in Gaoling District with open views in Xi’an. It is 20 kilometers far from the urban area and the traffic is extremely convenient. There’s no tall building around the club or high voltage line above it, for which the club is very suitable for the daily tossing and racing of pigeons. The club stretches over nearly 80,000 square meters. The size of accomodation building and viewing platform cover an area of 1,500 square meters. There are eight detached European wooden pigeon houses in the club. Each Loft covers 100 square meters and is divided into four lofts (3*6 meters) and one office. The rest 70% area of the club are green spaces.

Sun Hai, one of the founders and the present general manager of the club, has been loving feeding pigeons since his childhood and falling in love with pigeon sport as growing up. In order to set up a more intuitive, standard and high-end racing platform, he founded the the Explorer Club with his friends to realize the dream, as well to fulfill a deepest faith and longings. This year, Mr. Sun lived into the club from 29^th of March, during which time he never returned home but focused on the management, service and searching more about the pigeon of the club. He believed in ”No pain, no gain” and devoted himself to the enterprise!

Nowadays, almost all the best racers of China engaged in such furious competition of the Explorer Club to outdo one another to see who is the real and biggest Ace in the country! We can see number of famous lofts among them, such as Sunshine Home, Beyond Pigeon, Weili Racing Pigeon, 100 Pigeon, True Love Pigeon, Beijing Eijerkamp, ect. 

On November 8^th 2016, the 491st and last pigeon homing within the valid time range, the Three-Round Ace-pigeon Race by the Explorer Club 2016 came to a successful end! Looking back on the three round races, the pigeons went from strength to strength, which is so rarely creditable under the special weather and topography in Northwest China! Especially the second and the final rounds -

The second round is Ejin Horo(550km, Inner Mongolia, to the north of Xi’an) 681 pigeons. The homing rate had outstripped 70% within 10 hours and 1°fastest speed was 1371.3434m/m against headwind!

The final round is Shenmu(500km, Shaanxi, to the North of Xi’an) 541 pigeons. The homing rate had turned 85% within 10 hours and 1°fastest speed was 1511.2067m/m!

Eventually, Flying Tiger Loft from Chengdu City won the 1st Ace-pigeon Explorer Loft Race 2016 (Xi’an, China) from hundreds of fanciers.

As we know, the climate in 2016 is so tough for the pigeon race all over the world, and the terrible situation in China has never seen before either, which has taken disasters to many clubs and one loft races. However, the Explorer Club did achieve such big success against this backdrop, as was a shot in the arm to other industry peers!

In the year of 2017, the Explorer Club will explore and formulate more fair and sensible competition system, establish more scientific and humanized management, though which the Explorer Club will present fanciers around the world a world-class racing pigeon club. The Explore Club is very pleased to invite you to Xi’an City for enjoying the excitement and joy though competing with those famous fanciers in China!
